Friday Photo: Organic Market

An afternoon stroll with no plans and no destination can lead to good things.

I serendipitously stumbled across the Biologische Noordermarkt (i.e. organic farmers market) in Amsterdam’s Jordaan district on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Filled with fish, fresh baked breads, flowers, plenty of organic fruits and vegetables and even some octopus, even in the drizzly late summer weather the place was packed.

The kind of place one could spend hours…
